Barco’s Nightingales Foundation

Barco’s Nightingales Foundation is a nonprofit organization that sends volunteer nurses to third world countries. Barco’s is keeping hope alive in Haiti with the goal to better the health of communities and quality of life for families. They have created a positive impact in Haiti by donating meals, building water wells, and focusing on improving nutrition throughout impoverished areas. They also partner with Camp Ronald McDonald to help children with cancer. The camp is a week long getaway for children to be a part of a community that supports one another, and also have fun just being a kid!

The goal for this project was to provide professional website design services to the Barco’s Nightingales Foundation in order to create a website with a modern UI, updated content, and user friendly experience. The website development services provided include page speed optimization, responsive design and customization of the WordPress admin. This custom PHP development enables the Barco’s Nightingales Foundation team to update their content, post updates on the homepage and make important announcements, just to name a few.
