“How did John Wooden become John Wooden?”

Watch as Craig Impelman answers this question and describes the influences and drive that Coach Wooden had to become the Hall of Fame coach he is.

As a player at Purdue University, Coach Wooden would keep a notebook with him and interview opposing coaches after games to find out how they coached. “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail”. Coach Wooden knew he wanted to coach and followed his own advice in his preparation to become one.

Using his unique style of storytelling, Craig continues to cover everything in this podcast.

He details the calmness Coach would display in the locker room before games, how Coach ran and planned his grueling practices, and many more aspects about Coach Wooden.

In the final part of this two part series, Craig makes you appreciate Coach Wooden and makes you wish (even more) he had coached you!
